Trina founded AmeriHome Health Care in 2009 after personally experiencing the challenges of coordinating long-distance care for a family member. Her mission has always been simple: to give every family in South Florida the kind of support, guidance, and peace of mind that she once searched for herself. Trina sets the standard for every caregiver match at AmeriHome — and she means it personally.
Cathey Thomas
Alternate Administrator
Cathey has called South Florida home for more than 48 years and brings over 35 years of experience in the financial industry to her role at AmeriHome. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the office and manages all financial responsibilities — ensuring that every family has the assistance they need to make care arrangements that are both appropriate and affordable. Cathey is deeply caring, works closely with leadership, and is committed to making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for every family she serves.

Home Health Aide & Personal Care
We connect families with HHAs and CNAs who provide hands-on daily support — including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, mobility assistance, toileting, feeding, and help with all activities of daily living (ADLs). Support is available hourly, by shift, overnight, or as live-in care.
Companion Care & Supervision
Sometimes the most meaningful support is simply having someone caring and attentive by your loved one's side. Сompanion caregivers provide social engagement, light supervision, errand support, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and escort to appointments — keeping your loved one active, safe, and connected.
Specialized & Respite Care
We connect families with caregivers experienced in supporting clients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other serious or chronic conditions. We can also arrange for or refer respite care — short-term relief for family members who need a well-deserved break.
Registered Nurse (RN) & LPN Services
When your loved one requires skilled nursing support at home, we connect you with licensed RNs and LPNs who can assist with medication management, follow physician plans of care, support therapy routines, and provide professional oversight — all in the comfort and familiarity of home.

We connect families with a range of qualified in-home care professionals, including Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), companion caregivers, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs). The type of caregiver recommended depends on your loved one's specific needs and the level of support required.
AmeriHome Health Care serves families throughout Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Broward County, and surrounding South Florida communities. Our primary offices are located in Boca Raton and Coral Springs, FL.
Every caregiver goes through a thorough screening process that includes in-person intake interviews, Level II background checks, reference verification, and full credential review. Only a small percentage of applicants meet our standards — because when it comes to the care of your loved one, nothing less will do.
AmeriHome works with families on care arrangements that are both appropriate and affordable. Common payment options include Private Pay (credit card, debit card, and ACH), Long-Term Care Insurance (LTC) — AmeriHome can help review your policy and assist with coordination — and VA Benefits for eligible veterans and surviving spouses. We are happy to discuss options during your consultation.
